Exhibition of agriculture, culture, nature in Nanae-town
This is the museum to introduce and exhibit about Nanae town’s history.
In the permanent exhibition room, some historical documents and farming implements are always displayed.
It was opened in March, 1998. There is a reading room which has approximately 5000 books and dictionary. You can read them as free. In addition, there are sample gardens of the apple, grape, and the wild flowers . “Newton apple”, “Tamura apple” are also grown there. Sometimes some events and lectures are held here, such as programs for primary school children, nature observation, and bird-watching. If you would like to join it, please check it on website.
※To prevent Covid-19, up to 15 people can visit at one time,
and the tour time is within 2 hours.
