Yatsuhashi

The bridge where the form of the old bridge remains in the name.

An arched bridge is built now. But it was built over eight jaggedly at a flat bridge in about 1940. Children in Onuma called the bridge “ Gunya Gunya bridge” and they crossed it backward to play. Only the name of bridge becomes the form to remain now. There is A Great Beech Tree in the place where you crossed the Yatsuhashi.
