Hakuchodai Sebatto

“Sebatto” where is located on the borderline between Onuma and Konuma.
Swans passing from the Siberia winter in there.

“Sebatto”, it means the place getting narrow. Even Onuma and Konuma completely frozen, the surface of the water peeps in winter, whooper swan and duck rests its wings. Steller’s sea-eagle and white-tailed eagle, and smew turns up sometimes, it is recommended for birdwatching.

Whooper swan is seen around from end of December to the beginning of March. Feeding to wild animal might disturb ecosystem. Please refrain from feeding.
